She made the entire process totally seamless (and I say this as someone who kind of feared the potential stress of family photos - haha!!) We've had family photos done in the past but they didn't even come CLOSE to comparing to the beautiful images Perlla captured. Her demeanour is so welcoming & fun. She managed to capture the *exact* essence of me, my partners and our (sometimes shy) 3 year old. Perlla immediately connected with our daughter and got some of the MOST perfect & "totally her" facial expressions out of our daughter. Meet Perlla!
I am a family and wedding photographer in Vancouver, BC.
I specialize in capturing candid smiles, breathtaking sunsets and memorable connections.
During our photo sessions, I will focus on delivering a fun, entertaining and relaxing experience for everyone.
My passion for photography started when I was little. I had the opportunity to see a photo exposition starring Sebastiao Salgado and I was fascinated by the way he captured people’s expressions. It was then that I started documenting my family...the camera has never left my side.
Before photography, my coolest life experience was working at sea. I was fortunate to visit many beautiful destinations where I immersed myself in documentary photography and photojournalism.
When I’m not taking pictures, you will find me playing beach volleyball or scouting for new photo locations.
